Each of them are important to our new modern web because if it weren't for them we wouldn't have access to such amazing things around the world. The modem was first used to connect airbases, command and control centers, and radar sites. As for mainframe computing, it was used for difficult applications, huge data processing, transactions, consumer statistics, and company planning. Arpanet was introduced in 1969 where it was the jumpstart for computing and also helped with funding to help researchers create the protocols that is used today. Specifically for internet communications. The world wide was was invented by Tim Berners Lee where there was a high demand for information to be shared around the world specifically universities for scholarly work. Apple Macintosh came in the picture when Steve Jobs introduced the personal computer that was developed and designed by Jobs himself On January 24, 1984 it was introduced. Ebay was brought to the web where it became an e-commerce company buying and selling products for monetary exchange. Google being the last was brought to the web on September 4, 1998, google is a huge search engine that gives help with information and services. This is a very important timeline to our today’s modern world and during this timeline, anyone had the opportunity to become a millionaire or even a billionaire.
